| 英文描述 | Rare. Causal mites are DEMODEX CATI and another unnamed species that was pictured in the article by Morris. May occur as a local form with lesions typically affecting the eyelids, periocular area, chin, head and neck, and is usually self limiting. May also present as an otitis externa. Generalized feline demodicosis is very rare and may be more common in Siamese and Burmese cats. It is milder than the canine form and may appear as lesions on the head, with a few lesions of the neck, trunk, or legs; sometimes as a symmetric alopecia. Generalized form may be associated with concurrent underlying disease. Severe periocular involvement has led to conjunctivitis. |
